Our Story
The launch of Rosetta Hardscapes in 2007 was sparked by a need in the landscaping industry for a wall system that captured the look and feel of nature with its the colors, textures and shapes. At the time, Managing Partner Jim Manthei was managing MDC Contracting, a heavy construction and ready-mix concrete company he had started with his brothers in 1968.
Taking cues from natural stones allowed Manthei to combine top-notch aesthetics with a solid, engineered design to create the first Rosetta Hardscapes prototypes. Met with success locally, Rosetta Hardscapes soon began setting up manufacturers across North America and Europe.Associations
